Room 21's writing genre for the past two weeks has been persuasive writing. We have been learning how to form our own opinions and then support it with evidence. We recently held a class debate on an issue that we New Zealander's are facing right now.

We had a class brainstorm session where we were able to come up with some points for both agree and disagree. This class brainstorm then was used to help the students form their own piece of writing.
Here are some of our view points on how we feel about what Prime Minister John Key wants to do.
